This is another project from the book The magic of Double Weave, M.v.d.Hooght

Having all those colours intertwine was sheer pleasure all the way. I used two panels for a cushion in my cream coloured sofa, that needed some colour, and two will be used as wall hangings. I am currently making kumihimo braids to hang them with.

Quality materials and fine work

Ellen, you have been a busy little bee!  Each of the projects in the bunch posted today are wonderful.  Your designs are elegant and timeless, the yarns are lovely and the skill you demonstrate is exceptional.

Thanks for posting all of your recent projects.  They are inspirational!

Bonnie.

Hi Bonnie

Thanks! Well, it is exactly reactions like yours that prompt me to persevere, even though I find the add-a-project feature here very slow and tedious :-) So thank you again!

This is an eye-grabber for sure! It looks like you might have used Lunatic Fringe spectrum yarns? If not, what did you use? And did the pattern call for the chenille, or was that your own twist to make the pillows softer? This looks so fun to weave!

YES

You guessed it all Sally :-) Yes it is the Lunatic Fringe color wheel, and yes the draft called for chenille, and I had to get all of it sent from the USA, which cost a fortune, but it was all worth it, as - yes again - it was such a pleasure to weave :-)

Wow! I MUST get an 8-shaft loom! *Patience, patience....* This is just stunning. This website really inspires me to challenge myself and tackle projects that might be otherwise intimidating.
