I used a 8-shaft honeycomb threading from Strickler then used different tie-ups and treadlings for each pillow (one more still at the sewing machine). I used many great YouTube tutorials on how to make mitered flanges and invisible zippered closures.
Great pillows! The finishing edged flatters the weaving as well as serving practical purposes. A neutral yet exciting textural piece, i really like them. I am not familiar with Strickler? I must of missed that one along the way.
I like these pillows too...great woven textures!

The Book is "The Weavers' Book of 8-Shaft Patterns" by Carol Strickler. It is a wonderful resource.
These are so lovely...all those interesting textures in those soft colors. Great photos too.
Thanks Laverne - I really appreciate any positive feedback from you - goddess of the backstrap!
Lisa, they make a beautiful grouping!

Great "seeing" you here. I love your avatar textile.
I've been enjoying your projects. Looks like you are making great progress up the Hill! ;-) Do you have many left?
My avatar is a small section of 24S huck where the motif changes in some way each time it repeats. You've probably see it.
Best wishes,
Laurie Autio
Even more interesting up close! I can't not be enamored of those grid-defying weaving projects!
