This was done as a mobius strip: I left a lot of unwoven warp (about 18 inches) before starting to weave the scarf. After weaving about 45 inches, I undid the warp from the front beam, carefully added tension without wrapping the scarf around the beam, added a twist to the fabric, then used the un-woven warp from the start of the scarf as the weft for the final inches of the scarf.
