Notes:

Mixed warp-20/2 silk, 2/8 cotton, rayon chenille, Nuna (40% merino,40% silk, 20% bamboo). Warp 3 threads together, changing one randomly. Weft- 20/2 silk black first shown, 20/2 purple second shown, mixed greens on the loom now. Framed the scarf design with 8 ends black both sides. Twisted fringe finish. The purple scarf is a little wider because I opened up the sett for the chenille area to allow more drape.

I am partial to the purple

I am partial to the purple scarf but they are both lovely.  You selvedges are perfect and the twisted fringe is just the right length.

Are these gifts?

Very nice. I like the black

Very nice. I like the black weft best - I like the appearance of the closer sett, and I like the way the colors work together.

I particularly like the black

I particularly like the black scarf because I can see the weave structure better. I love how you have used beautiful color and weave structure together, without losing one or the other. The twisted fringe is very pretty.

beautiful

I love both of these scarves.  It's interesting to see how they look so different with the change of colors.  Did you design your own draft?  It creates such an interesting texture.
