tablet weaving combined with texture weaving
Very creative piece and the different texture compliment one another...did you tablet weave the bands separate from the textured weaving?

No the texture weaving and tablet weaving are done on the loom at the same time.
Wonderful contrast between the flat bands and the soft textures! Your choice of colors worked well here, too. You are the master of this method.
Thank you Bonnie for teaching me how to draft for textured Overshot. I hope someday I can take a workshop from you and learn more about this technique. Sorry I missed you when you were in Ottawa teaching. Yes, I do love the contrast between the flat bands and the texture.

Inge, I should take a workshop from you about tablet weaving on a floor loom. I have only used my tablets on an inkle loom.
