This was my first "from scratch" project from design to end product. Since my loom's weaving width is only 26", I wove twice the length I wanted and then sewed the two pieces together, matching the pattern to keep the seam undetectable. Finished just in time as the baby entered this world on Tuesday morning!
Lucky baby! This is a beautiful blanket, nicely woven and finished -- and just in time! :-)

very nice. What a lucky baby.
Just beautiful - so sweet!
This is one of the prettiest baby blankets I have ever seen! Very lucky baby!
The pattern is lovely and I like the way you finished the edges. Very nice!
Thanks for the nice comments. I tried to add the weft yarn information, but obviously missed a step there. The weft is an acrylic fingering yarn, as I wanted the blanket to be as soft as possible.
