Notes:

Woven in 1998, this rug is a variation of the technique on page 104 of Weaving Contemporary Rag Rugs by Heather Allen. I will someday relatively soon reweave this rug because one of my cats has had way too much fun playing with it. The rags are plain weave commercial curtain fabric samples and the warp is 8/4 cotton carpet warp. I think I will try a cotton / poly blend rug warp to see if it will withstand cat attacks. I may also cut the rags thinner because they seem a little thick in relation to the block sizes and because they were difficult to turn nicely at the selvedges.
