Notes:

This is a strap to dress up my camera made in warp faced double weave. The design is from weavings by the Tarahumara people of Mexico. They weave a warp- float structure to make belts and I have used it on other projects but here I translated the design to double weave to make a sturdy strap for my camera. The pattern chart for this is on my blog.

Beautiful, Laverne!  I love

Beautiful, Laverne!  I love the high contrast, and it's just magical to see that pattern appearing on both sides of the strap.

Your happy camera will no doubt reward you by taking a long series of stunning pictures!

Nice pattern!  It has almost

Nice pattern!  It has almost an Escher-ian feel.  I looked at Escher's biography to see if it identifies any influences.  There was one, but it wasn't South American weavings.

Anyway, beautiful band and a much nicer way to use your Olympus hardware than had been done before.
