The Directions - a new series of banners based on the 4-directions and the symbolism of them.

This first one is "West - Looks within".

It is woven of many different yarns and material on a plain black 8/2 cotton warp - more details on my blog.

hi terri,your banner is beautiful; I like your explanations of the symbolism of west. it would fit with our west ,just as direction, because that is the side that often brings bad wether,dark clouds and heavy rains.

I am already curious to see the next banner.

Thanks Jeannine. I know that different places and traditions have different meanings and colours for different directions. Interesting that the west would be the same for you.
