This loom is my loom at weaving class. The typical old loom of the german farmers. Every family had have a loom in their house- most used for plain weave ( clothes and towels etc.) I found the same loom in a museum village near my home.
In our weaving class we have ten big looms with 4- 20 shafts. Here we are 9 women and 1 man weaving together every week. It´s very inspiring to see, what the others are doing here. Some of them belong more than twenty jears to this weaving class at our local adult education centre.
