2/30 black silk (from Silk Tree), sett 36 epi.
Used an altered version of Peacock shawl draft from Design Collection 19. Modified by me on my PCW Fiberworks.
First scarf I used silk/ yak blend and second I used a silk/ camel blend. Both are beaded along edges and fringe twisted into fine groups.
Quite elegant!

I bet they feel wonderful as well as looking elegant :-)

I *love* the appearance of the mitered corners in this design. Spectacular! And then when I read the materials you used, I am thinking it not only looks rich, it would feel luxurious, too!
I was reminded of a comment one of my 75+ year old guildmates once exclaimed when she was feeling a chenille blanket I wove:
"WOW—this would feel great NAKED!"
Thank you Laurie...
Yes, there is something about silk and silk blends that seems like a naughty pleasure! I had visitors to my studio today and they just *had to touch*. One even sniffed to make sure it was truly silk!
The discerning shopper!

Hi Sally,
I have always admired drafts where there are nice corners and borders all round. Seems so framed doesn't it?
Now your older guildmate has the same idea as my hubby who asked me to make him some cashmere boxers one time.
You are joking ....right? was all I could say.....he just smiled!
