Woven for the Handwoven Sock Yarn Contest.

It is a tabby with knotted pile, made to look like mold growth.

All the yarn is hand dyed by ikat tie off or hand painted warp and weft.

well,if this is in a contest

well,if this is in a contest it should win! this is so realistic ; without your explanation it is just a bunch of pile but then I read your note and i could see it :the most beautiful molded weave ever.I have had a look at your livejournal and i like the close-up photo becouse you can see the paint effect on the yarn.
