Weaver's Friend

Hi folks.  I just got a Reed Loom Co. Weaver's Friend loom, it's in nice shape and has no treadles, I guess you move the beater bar 2x to make it advance.  As soon as my sister shows me how to thread the loom I'm going to be making rag rugs - have done that on her loom, but don't know how to warp the loom myself.  The odd thing is I have no idea how old my loom is, she bought it used several years ago.  Anyone familiar with this loom brand?

REED ' WEAVERS FRIEND '

HEY-THERE-sugarcat ! ! ! ! ! !

As you can see, our loom has only has 2 harnesses w/ 2 treadles, but is so old & modified so much, I can't say that it was ever ' BEATER-DRIVEN '. There is a lot of more-knowledgable-folks in WEAVO that will 'chime-in-here-directly' ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
