this glorious older loom was GIVEN to me. i refinished (lightly) the pieces, took off all the metal eyelets and mess, got the cords and etc. from GlimakraUSA, and got her put together! LOVE this loom. Counterbalance is fine, but i think i'd like someday to get the Countermarche mechanism or more harnesses! For a beginner, I feel this loom has it all. i could probably never need another one, except for perhaps a small workshop model!
