Your profile isn't really complete unless you've added a photo as your weavatar (aka avatar). This can be a photo of you or of something else (your loom, a special woven item) that you feel represents you or your weaving. This image will be displayed with your forum posts, projects, and in the People tab. The Weavolution logo serves as your weavatar until you add one of your own.
To add or change your weavatar, select My profile from the navigation list on the left side of the page, then click on Edit My profile.
Just below the password fields are where you can add or change your weavatar image. Click the 
button for the avatar image and then select file from your computer.
Then just click on the 
button at the bottom your profile page.
If you are changing your weavatar. you may also need to clear your browser cache in order to see it.The directions for IE 8 are:
- Tools/Internet Options
- Browsing history - Delete. A screen will appear - make sure temporary items are deleted.
- Refresh your screen.
Currently, the original Avatar will still show up under Edit My profile, but your new Avatar will show up everyplace else.
