Hey Cathy,
I saw your shawl on your blog. Why not add it to your projects on Weavolution? It's a great way to keep track of your work and get feedback on the things you have created. This shawl is really pretty. I noticed your comment about the length. Have you tried the weaving calculator in the Resources section? Allowing for loom waste, fringe, shrinkage and take-up are all part of the calculation in your warp length. Also, keeping a measuring tape or a piece of adding machine tape running alongside your weaving helps to keep track of how much you have completed and how far you need to go so the finished length is what you want.
