Just curious...I was looking at the Great Northern Weaving website and see that they charge $2.40 / lb. for loopers. How many lbs. do you all recon would it take to make a 2'x3' rug?

Based on fabric weights for that size rug, I would expect about 3 lbs should work. You should take a look at Cotton Clouds, she is the first to offer loopers and might have more information about amounts needed. You can either click on her ad on the left or go here.

I contacted cotton clouds and will share for future ref. The loopers come in 1 lb. bags:
It' a 16 ounce bag that will make about 10 potholders; you'd need about 3 bags for a 3 x 5 rug. Hope that helps. Irene
