Moved from Illinois to our new home near Salt Lake City Utah this past month. My goals for a public accessable weaving studio have changed with the reality of this move.
The new goal is to find affordable studio space somewhere near my home outside of Salt Lake City. There appears to be a large fine arts community with lots of galleries that exhibit painting/photography/pottery but no fiber arts appear to be offered.
Affordable studio space - I am on the search...any ideas?

Hi Martha,
You might want to wait until you can attend a few guild meetings in the fall. After meeting some of the weavers there, you might make some helpful contacts. If you plan to teach weaving classes, you might want to look for space near a college campus. Being close to a bus line might also be helpful. Or, consider putting up a building in your back yard.
