Has anyone used rose flowers for dyeing and if so, what mordant/modifier did you use and what color did you get? I have a bucket of flowers fermenting in the garage, getting ready for the dye pot. I also have apple prunings (leaves and twigs) that I know I can get a nice olive green with alum mordant and iron modifier. I will post pictures aftermy dye session in a few weeks.
