Looks like I am in for another fun week at the Folk School. I am assisting Syne Mitchell in a Rigid Heddle weaving class. There are 12 students that are excited about getting started learning to weave on a RH loom. My very first loom back in 1967 was a RH loom. Today there are so many looms to choose from such as Ashford, Glimakra, Kromski and Schacht just to name a few. We will be test driving them all this week! I think it is going to be fun!
Last week I was able to take a class taught by Kathie Roig and it was all about Warp Painting. When I get some time ( not assisting ) I will post pictures. I really want to explore warp painting because I think it has so many possibilities!
