Historic Weaving focuses primarily on historic weaving techniques, and issues surrounding reproducing historic textiles (anything prior to 1950). This list is open to all interested in historic weaving techniques and tools; while weavers interested in early techniques are welcome, this is not exclusively a forum for SCA weavers. The rules are simple:
-
Be excellent to one another.
-
Please don't thread-jack.
-
Have fun!

Textile
History Forum
The Textile History Forum brings together textile historians, students,
researchers, museum curators, independent scholars, artisans, dealers, and
collectors from around the country for two days of intense exchange.
Participants will have the opportunity to take a behind the scenes tour of the
Historic Cherry Hill textile collection and explore the extensive period
collections of Eastfield Village. There will be a show and tell session for
newly acquired textiles, and a silent auction of textiles and tools.
