 First meeting was today --

First meeting was today -- and was wonderful!  "The Barn" overlooks Lake Woodmoor, which was populated with a huge flock of Canada Geese, Mallards, and other water birds.

There were spinning wheels, spindles, inkle looms, and knitting needles accompanied by conversation, camaraderie and a relaxed atmosphere. It was a good day !

Monument also has an excellent  tea house, and plans are in the making for several of us to rendezvous there for lunch before next month's Thursday meeting.

Cheers,

Jane
