We now have a channel on YouTube just for Weavolution!!  It was created by villageweaver and it's called WeavolutionWebcasts.

You will find Help videos there to lead you through inserting a photo in a Comment area and how to add a link to what you are writing.

We created the channel for everyone to use.  If you have an instructional video or a weaving-related video to share with others on Weavolution please feel free to post it in the WeavolutionWebcasts channel.

Want to help making Help videos for others to view? Please contact me (claudia)  or villageweaver by PM.  Just click on Messages in the orange box at the top right side of the Home page.

Oh, and we got the PM working so you will get an email when you receive a Private Message.

the chronological change is

the chronological change is great, my red buttons do not go away in a hurry.  I find red alert renewal seems to work best on dashboard.   Is the red alert renewal tied to the browser or to the user name?  I've found when I move from my smartphone, to my laptop and then to my computer that I have to clear everything again and again.  This wasn't the case in the other system.  I'll try to keep better track but I've seen Nancy's note about selling looms and the ergonomic thread renew again and again (without new messages......not the only ones but they stick out in my mind.

on your advice i tried

on your advice i tried the Google Chrome Browser. Now the buttons "new"and "last post" that are on top of a thread work good. there seems to be a problem with indexing in windows with IE. I will see if more stuff works better with this browser.Seems i have access to a translator and spelling control when typing a comment . that is always  handy since English is not my native language.

Deb, The clearing of the red

Deb,

The clearing of the red new is tied to caching of the site.  With a site as large and picture heavy as ours, caching is supposed to help keep things moving along.  As for moving from one machine to the other, the only suggestion I have is to clear your cache and cookies daily.  That may make a difference especially as we add improvements and make changes.
