The Weavolution community continues to grow and in response to that
growth we continue to make changes in the background. First and
foremost thanks to our devoted group of volunteers who help support the
needs of our users. HalloWeave is an example of their hard work,
devotion and creativity. Conceived of by one volunteer, others joined
the effort and together they have made it a success.
Second, we are working on a development project that will take us into 2012 with
marked improvements in functionality and usability for Weavolution
members. More updates will follow in the weeks ahead on this subject.
Third, Claudia Segal and Alison Giachetti are passing the Management shuttle on to Erica and Oliver Jones. Erica and Oliver expressed an interest in becoming more deeply involved
in Weavolution at a time when Claudia had been advised to slow her
daily work pace. Please welcome Erica and Oliver to the Weavolution
Management team. Claudia and Alison have loved every minute of working
on Weavolution and are looking forward to watching the new ideas and
energy Erica and Oliver bring to the Weavolution community.
Just wanted to say thanks to Claudia and Alison and wish them more time for their own weaving. I really appreciate all the work you have been doing it making this a wonderful resource for all weavers.
Claudia and Alison... Your names have been synonymous with Weavolution. Thank you so much for all that you've done to create such a warm, caring, supportive network of worldwide weavers. You deserve to have time to take care of yourselves. Please don't be strangers. We all are anxiously awaiting the products of your looms!!!
... And welcome Erica and Oliver! We can't wait to get to know you. Thank you both for taking on this responsibility!
Sending a huge Thank You to Claudia and Alison! Your vision of Weavolution makes my daily life a nicer place. I know everything you've done here has been on a volunteer basis (as most everything regarding Weavolution is), and that makes it all the more precious. Brava, brava, brava!
