Hello Everyone,

I'd like to thank everyone who has taken the time to report the recent spammers who have been attracted to Weavolution! We are all inconvenienced by this inappropriate content. We have taken a few new measures to help minimize this unavoidable nuisance on the site. First we're asking that if you see Spam please send a quick e-mail to

Please note a script has been used to minimize spam in this inbox. You access this e-mail in a few different ways. In help, general, How do I reprot spam? Or on the contact page.

If you access your e-mail online you can click on the Report Spam link and copy to e-mail address. You may continue to report Spam via the Helping Improve Weavolution Forum.

We have also increased the security settings on the site to add extra protection on comments, adding forum posts and adding group posts. Spammers target very popular sites, so in a way we should be flattered that spammers feel we are worth their time. At the same time we will not allow spam to be a nuisance to our community.

We thank all of your for your vigilance in helping us keep Weavolution Spam Free!

Happy Weaving,

Erica

Please note

The increased settings on the spam filter, suggested by the developers, may ask you to complete an extra step when posting now. The purpose of this step is to price you are human. I have been told that the filter will learn what is and is not spam, so this will not be a permanent reaquirement. Please do contact me erica@weavolution.com if you feel you are asked to do this too much.
We are trying to keep the site less susceptible to spammers.
Cheers,
Erica
