To celebrate our first anniversary, Deb proposed an electric map showing all the members of Weavolution from around the World and Marian, developer extraordinaire, has been looking into the idea and followed up on the lead Deb posted. Unfortunately, it cannot be done in time for our June 8th anniversary. We love the idea, and others have liked it, too. As always, we will continue to investigate it and, if you have any suggestions please PM Marian. Just click on Messages on the left side of the page navigation list and her user name is "marian".
Any other suggestions for a celebration? We only have 9 days!

Hey, there is always the 5th anniversary....why don't we just start a thread for "Happy Anniversary from" and folks login and post their location.....not as good as a twinkling map but sometimes you just dream about what you'll make out of all those skeins and they just don't make it to the loom......
sort of like a longest thread, for posting???????

uh, can I disable the reply notification so I don't get email reminders from everyone that posts?
Hi Deb,
You can uncheck the box at the bottom of your post to diable the reply notification. Or, you can edit Notifications in your profile. There is a separate tab for that when you go to "My Profile".

One caveat is that the "notify me when replies are posted" box is checked by default for all the subsequent commenters as well. So everyone will need to be warned to uncheck the box unless they want to see all the subsequent responses. Or maybe there's a way around this for a particular forum or thread - make the unchecked box the default.
Or at least Deb may want to include the suggestion in her initial post.
