I have just tried twice to edit the "fun" stuff about me, since it was written in the first rush of delight with having found this site. And twice I clicked the SAVE button, and nothing happend, the same old text? Anything I am doing wrong, or not doing or what?

I can find nothing wrong with your profile. I tried editing my own and had no problems.
When all else fails, I always go to my browser and empty my cache and cookies and give it another try. Make certain you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click on "Save" and give it a twenty seconds or more before you click again.
I will also ask our dev folks to take a look at this. Let me know how it goes.

Well I tried again with the same result, and I can't really try out your advice about emptying "cache" and "cookies", since I don't know where they are and how to empty them ! (i am almost embarrassed to admit this, but perhaps you remenber me - the computer- illiterate ;-)
I'll try and find someone to ask, and the come back to you after I have tried it.

Hi again. Somehow it just worked now. Typical for me, I don't know why, but who cares, eh? :-)
Well, okay, then, let's hear it for random. I don't understand computers either Ellen but I have learned a lot in the past year. Most of it I can make sense of but when things go wrong, I look for the help of others.
BTW, if you are in Firefox, you go to the menu at the top of the page and click on "Tools" and then to the bottom of that menu to "Clear recent history" and when you click on that it allows you to clear you cache and cookies. I don't know anything about any other browser. I might be able to find it on Safari but I am a Mac and that's because it's user friendly and easy. PC and I never got along so I bought a Mac mini and plugged in my own monitor, an Apple key board and mouse (just by choice not needed, any keyborad and mouse with a USB connection will work) and I became a Mac. Cost was well under $1000. including 3 years of Apple care which has saved me many times.

I got my husband's son, who happened to pass by to help me clear the cache and cookies - thing, so now I'll know for the next time ( - if I have not forgotten!) But actually The profile thing had just magically worked the 4th time I tried, anyway, which is the way I normally experience these matters.
I'm on pc and Windows internet explorer, which I know a lot of people consider hopeless. Thing is, even considering actually changing all that seem just too formidable a task :-)
