Vests

I have woven vests in manu types of fiber - wool, cotton chenille, cotton, rayon, bamboo, tencel, etc.  Patterns used include commercial ones and others from handwoven magazines or books.  I have also purchased vests and other clothing and used these as patterns.  Some have been lined and button holes added.  Other vests were designed to be open or with one button at the neck.  I have also made vests with fringe.  The possibilities are endless..

Wool

Gentleman's vests are mostly designed to wear under a jacket.  For us, wool woven in almost any twill pattern makes an elegant vest.  Add a lining and/or a back of tabby woven linen or a synthetic in a satin weave and you'll be stylin'!
