MACOMBER B5 "Ad-A-Harness", jack-type loom, 4-shaft, 6-treadle, 40" weaving width, manufactured in 1968. A very sturdy, well-made loom in very good condition. $600.
HERALD LOOM Jack-type, 8-shaft, 10 treadle, 32" weaving width, hard wood with black stain finish. A 1960's era loom that can be partially folded for transport or storage. It would best be used for lighter weight weaving. Has some problems with wood shaft frames sticking but someone with wood working skills could probably restore this into a functional, compact 8-shaft loom. $300.
HAMMETT LOOM Counterbalance, 4-shaft, 6-treadle, 44" weaving width. This is an older loom with a sturdy, strong frame. Suitable for all types of 4-shaft weaving from rugs to finer fabrics. The two counterbalance rollers are slightly warped but this does not affect the function of the loom. It works very well and many rugs have been woven on this loom at the museum. $400.
X-FRAME Jack Loom, 4-shaft, 6-treadle, 36" weaving width, sectional warp beam. This is presumed to be a Gilmore but lacks identifying information. It is being offered for sale because we have a nearly identical Gilmore loom in the collection. The X-frame allows it to be folded for transport or storage. A versatile loom in very good condtion, suitable for many types of weaving. $400.
These looms are located in the Weavers Barn at the Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum in Vista, CA. Buyer must arrange for looms to be picked up.
