Hello fellow weavers. I am new to Weavolution and would like to suggest that the forum called "For Sale or Trade" also include "Wanted" or perhaps the forum could be called "Weaving Equipment." I'm looking for a 45" or 60" Tissart Tapestry Loom and not sure where to place this ad in the Forum Selections. Louise Evelyn
I like your idea of changing the name of the Forum. That is where you should place your ad but you might want to look at this which was posted earlier this week in the For Sale or Trade forum.

Hi, I am looking for a Glimakra Ideal loom...a 27" would be my "ideal" loom, CB or CM, but I would consider any size up to the 40". I need at least 4H, 6T or more. Thanks! Brenda
Just to let everyone know...I found my loom! A 39" Glimakra Ideal 4S6T CM...Now I just need a good teacher! Brenda

Sorry for posting twice, but "Ditto" on finding my loom! :)
Hey Brenda,
You might want to start a separate post for your request. The For Sale or Trade forum is the place to post it.

borthober, where did you find your loom? there was one on ebay last week in OK. congrats. you will enjoy it. they are really great looms............Steve.
Hi, Steve, I found my loom by posting an email to members of a local group of spinners and weavers. After asking if anyone knew of a used Glimakra Ideal for sale, I took off for a fiber festival. Four hours later, I checked my email for replies. One of the members wrote and said that she had been contacted just the day before by a friend of hers who had a Glimakra Ideal for sale. It was so unreal!! She gave me her email address, and one day later, it was set up in my house! The owner lives only about 80 miles from me. And, because it was such a wonderful day for a drive to enjoy the autumn colors, she and her husband volunteered to bring it up and help put together. Sweet! Here are some pics of my new baby!

Looks nice, I love my Glimakra, oh, I love my wife too. Even more than my loom. Yes, she was looking over my shoulder when I typed that. No, really, I do love my wife more..........Steve.
Congratulations from another Glimåkra owner.
I'm looking for a baby Glimakra Ideal loom, with a 27-inch weaving area, either CM or CB, 4 or 8 shafts, but the more, the merrier! Even a 39-inch Ideal would be ok with me.
I'm in New England, and can travel as far south as Washington and as far west as Iowa. Montreal and Ottawa and environs doable, too. Please post here, or send a message. coatproject@gmail.com. Thanks!
