Compressing pics.

sequel, I have Vista w/MS Office and here's how I compress photos. Click on START......click on MS Office....click on MS Office Tools....click on MS Office Picture Manager....find your pic in the file and click in it . It shound be highlighted then on the screen. On right side of screen you will see, Edit Picture. Click on that, then click on Compress. Then pick the size you want. I use WEB PAGES. Click on that. Then press ok. When you go to close this page , it will ask you if you really want to do this. Click ok and you are done. Now the picture is small enough( bytes) to put on Weavolution.............Steve
PS. If you have any problem, just contact me.

Thanks Steve.  Unfortunately I have Windows 2000 and I don't see anything in "tools" that would seem to do the job.  Maybe my son or daughter will help me.  They just got new machines with Windows 7.

We're planning to get a new computer.  This is yet another reason to spend perfectly good money on something that will be obsolete before you un-pack it.
