Hi All, I am selling my little countermarch loom to make way for the AVL I bought awhile ago. It's a Varpapuu, made in Finland, and is sturdy enough to weave rugs or can also weave lace or whatever you like. It has a hanging beater and several reeds, some of them original to the loom. Asking $800, pick up only. I am located in central New England, close to Portland, ME and North Conway, NH. Please contact me through this forum, and I will provide individuals with contact info.
Hi,
I would like some more information, including dimensions, maybe pictures, of the loom you're selling. You can reply through this forum or via email to knitterkim at yahoo dot com, removing spaces and replacing text with appropriate symbols.
Thank you,
Kim
Hi,
I was also wondering if you have any pictures and dimensions?
Thanks,
Renee
I am not able to post a picture to this forum and have it come out right. If you want me to send any pics, please email me. Thanks.
The loom is about 5 feet square when set up and about 6 feet tall.
Have you ttied clicking on the picture icon on the bar at the top of the message box? There are explicit directions in the Help section. Basically, you click on the picture icon and then click on upload and then on browse and find the picture on your computer or on the desktop of your computer and then click on upload to server. You should then see you photo in the lower right hand box of the upload window. You can change the size by putting the correct or desired size in the top box, the lower box will automatically adjust and then just click on the final upload button.
I have had lots of trouble loading pictures of other craft sites but have found this very easy. Please feel free to contact me if I can help further.

When I followed the directions, my picture was huge and wouldn't fit on the page. I couldn't figure out how to make it smaller. I'll just email pics. Thanks, Mary
The way to make it smaller is after you have chosen your photo from your computer, you click on "Send to server" and then you are taken back to the "Image Properties" pop-up window. It should look like this with the numbers on the left side of the page that tell you the size of your current picture.

It's small but you can see in the example that the width is 2000, that is very wide. You can then change the top number to something more reasonable, like around 350 or 400 and the second number, height, will change automatically. If the preview which appears in the box on the right looks good, click "OK" and you are all set.
Please give it a try. I am sure once you get the hang of it you will be a lot happier. I have noticed people take more interest when they can see the picture.
I'm sorry you have found the picture uploading a hassle. We are always looking for ways to improve Weavolution and I would be interested in hearing from others who are having trouble with the picture upload.
Thanks,
Claudia

If this isn't sold, would you send me pics and any info about what is included? Thanks.
