Hello you Wonderful Weaving Geeks - I say that lovingly. This is such a great site. I want to know who is online when I am online at Weavolution. Is there a way to do that or is it on the list of to dos or is it out of the question? Thanks.
I don't want anyone to know when I'm online, so I hope this is an opt-out feature if it becomes a feature.
Now that you mention it, I don't much care for being identified with 'Last Post' on the Forums list either. I do like knowing when the last post was posted.

Jean, It would be nice knowing who is on line, right now I know there are 7 weavers on line. Some of them maybe talking in a group?

I will be gone in under 5 mins.
I am sitting on my cushion weaving in my backstrap. The remote for the cd player and TV is on my right and the laptop is on my left. I just need to swivel a bit to reach the keys of the laptop and swivelling the other way gets me in reach of my cd collection-don't have an MP3 player. I am on line all day! but also weaving. :-)What I am saying is that although someone is ''online'' they aren't necessarily in the site being active.

Hi everyone,
We have discussed adding that feature that would allow you to see who is on line. It is pretty low down on the list right now because we have so many other great features we want to bring you first!
When we get to that feature, there will be an opt out. If we have lots of money (hah!), what I'd like to see is that a user can toggle in or out depending on what they are doing - sort of like the Yahoo Mail chat function.
Sorry Kurt - there are no plans to change the last post function. It is too useful! We use that capability when we're monitoring the forums. For example, if I see that Claudia or Marian has posted last, I know the issue is taken care of. Other users can use it to see if someone new has posted to a thread they are interested in (assuming they've chosen to not see notifications).
Good morning all!
Alison
