It would be helpful for the forum posts to have the most recent at the top.  While there are only a few posts in each forum it's easy to scroll down through them, but when things get busier we could have to go through pages to get at the most recent posts.

I remember we talked about

I remember we talked about this when we were designing the site...we looked at most places and the convention was to do it the way we've done it, chronological order, so we opted to do it that way.  That way people can just "read down the thread" instead of having to go down to the bottom and work their way gradually back up, zigzag - it's much less confusing if you haven't read the threads recently.

We are, however, going to introduce a new feature that allows you to see only *unread* posts - that should make things a lot easier.  Expect it later this week, or early next, assuming development goes as planned.  I think that should take care of the problem of having to page through lots of pages to get to the new posts (it annoys me, too!)

I find it difficult to find

I find it difficult to find the new posts when someone "replies" to a post, as then the posts are not in chronological order.

Would it be possible to have a "quote" button on each post, then if someone wants to reply to a specific post, they would click that button and the original post would show up in a box inside their post.  (this option is available at knittyboard.com, and I find it very easy to use and read the posts.)

thanks,

Anne

Early next week you will see

Early next week you will see improvements to the Groups and Forums that will make it easier to see only "unread" posts so that you can follow a thread more easily.
