Laverne (bolivian warmi), Sally Orgren and Kerstin have all experienced problems uploading photos lately. I am starting this thread to collect more information for our hosting company, Get Pantheon, to continue working on this issue. Please tell me what browser (IE, Firefox, Safari) you are using and what operating system (Mac OS 10.x, Windows, etc).
We appreciate your help in getting the details together so we can get this fixed.

Tried again this morning, to forums and projects. No dice.

Below is the pic I could not upload yesterday. Had to try three times just now before it worked.
as the chickens would not upload to begin with, I tried another picture. In my file browser it is called lejongap, is 600x450 px and is 220.55 kB. On my computer, here at home, it is 55 kB. Where did the extra 165 kB come from?
I remember having read, somewhere, about max width in pixels, but I can't find that info anymore. I think I have noticed the extra bytes have something to do with too big (wide?) pictures, but it would be helpful if I could (easily) find the restrictions.
I cannot seem to post photos again.
Specifically, to the thread "my corner of the world." Same problems previously reported. Once I select "upload," the timer just spins forever without ever uploading the image. I usually give it 1-2 minutes before bailing. This has been an intermittent problem for me for many months now. This inability to upload to that particular forum has been going on for about 2 weeks now. The last time I was able to load to that forum was July 21st.
I thought when the new one was created for August, I would be able to load, but have tried several times to no avail.

I believe Franco cuts and pastes the information and does not create a new new one. It's a new thread, with a new node but the same intro. We need to ask Franco.
Are you having trouble with uploading in Projects or other forum posts?

In my experience, uploading seems to get stuck when 20 or more weavers are on-line.
I use Firefox in Windows 7.
Using IE 8 and Windows Vista. I do not understand why the program code allows me to upload photos in My Projects but I can not post a photo in Forum topics. I have learned that since I don`t have Mozilla, Chrome my comment boxes do not have the toolbar. Why can`t the same programming be used in Forum comments that works in Projects?
R1, count yourself lucky, with my iPhone I have no photo function at all anywhere. All I can do is read and post comments.
