First of all, a huge CONGRATULATIONS to the team who have worked so hard to get this site up and running. You have done a really fantastic job. Well done!
There a couple of tiny glitches I met as I was filling in my details - I don't want to pick nits, but I know you want the site to be practically perfect in every way so I thought I 'd mention them.
- I carefully filled in my "funstuff" details then added my loom... and all the stuff I had entered disappeared! If the save button were above the loom-adding, I might not have fallen into that trap...
- There is an "Other" location option for those of us outside the US & Canada, but although it allowed me to enter "Scotland" the info wasn't saved or displayed. That seems a shame as I would like to see the diverse range of countries where weavers hail from.
Now that I am installed, I'm off to have a look round. Thanks everyone.

Hi Cally,
Thanks for reporting the bugs! The first one is in the queue and should be fixed within a few days. I think the second one is on our list for "new features", but I'm not sure exactly when it will be implemented - I'm getting with our development team today to discuss priorities. Groups and Forums come first, then we queue up other things. It's pretty high priority on my list, though, as I know we have quite a few international users.
Another small hitch with the Fun Stuff page: when you fill out the "Years Weaving" part you're likely to put in a number like, say, "3". But the My Profile page changes this to "Weaving Since", to which the answer "3" is, well, rather improbable! I'm sure I'd be a much better weaver if I'd been at it for 2006 years.
It's fun to see how many other weavers are on line when I'm there.
Just wondering if there were plans for a 'live chat' forum?
Cheers,
Laura
We are looking into a number of interactive features in the future. Our first priority is to fix the bugs, improve Groups and Forums to increase and improve interactivity and then on to a few other items.
As with many things, part of the issue is in the complexity and cost of development.
Thanks for the suggestion, it is something we're working on for down the road.

This is not a bug, but a suggestion for the "People" page. Can you tighten up the spacing or add navigation (numbered pages, next and last links) at the top as well as the bottom? I'm using firefox 3.0.11 on a display set to 1280 x 1024, and on every page I have to scroll down to the navigation links unless I turn off the firefox navigation toolbar (you know, the one with the all-important "back" button?). This solution works while I'm on weavolution but not so much for other websites, and I switch between tabs quite a bit.
Just a thought. I'm loving weavolution - so happy to have a website for weaving!

Any idea why there is such a large blank space above the pictures or drafts, or whatever you've chosen to look at? Or maybe it's just my computer??
I tried to see what you mean but am uncertain what you are seeing. Can you get back to that page and send me the link so I can see what you mean? I'd love to answer your question, but am not experiencing the same thing when I go to my drafts or my projects.
Thanks for your input. We'll try to figure it out.
