Intuitive programming

I would like to see Weavolution evolve into something more intuitive to use.  It would be nice if the posts were in chronological order so it was easier to see the most recent posts and replies to earlier posts also appear in chronological order instead of nested under the original post and missed.   Either have the most recent post at the top or better yet, have the oldest post at the top and the order of oldest (top) to newest post (bottom) but have the program  "jump" to the first "unread" post in the list (like Ravelry).  It would be nice too, if there were thread topics that all related posts were grouped in, some kind of order to make it easier to find the discussions that a user finds of interest.   As it is now the structure doesn't have a order that is easy enough to navigate.  Many weavers don't have time to spend just trying to figure out how to get around, let alone adding to the discussions, proejcts, etc.  Also allowing more than 1000 char max in a post.

Ok, I'm off my soapbox now.  There's been a thread in Ravelry's Warped Weavers group about Weavolution.  Most of the people that posted were concerned about these very things (an intuitive navigation).  It was suggested that we post our concerns on Weavolution so these concerns could be addressed and not just gripe on Ravelry about it.  Thanks for letting me share my concerns/ideas.

Thank you for sharing your concern.  We have just made some changes to Groups and Forums and more are coming.  We know things aren't perfect now, but development takes time .  I'll forward your suggestions to our development team.

We now have chronological order!

We also increased the limit to 5000 characters a while ago.

If you need to report any problems with the new functionality, please add it to this thread:  http://www.weavolut ion.com/node/ 6806
