This post is not a complaint! I am noting these problems in the hope that it will help the developers to locate and solve them.
If I enter Weavo through IE8:
1) Most of the images do not appear on the screen.
2) The comment box shows the proper download icons and I am able to download a picture. Two days ago the picture only showed as a box with a red X, but today the picture appeared properly.
3) If I click "Disable rich-text" at the bottom of the comment box, the screen appears the same as what I get through AOL, with the exception of this information:

Input format
Filtered HTML
Web page addresses and e-mail addresses turn into links automatically.

Thank you for taking the time

Thank you for taking the time to give us such a thorough explanation with screen shots and all!!  It helps me to understand what you are seeing and give you some ideas to help you experience Weavolution better.

We met with our developers last night and spent a lot of time on the IE8 issue. Drupal does not work well with IE8 and many websites (there are hundreds of thousands using Drupal core code like we are) suggest to there users to download and use either Firefox or Google Chrome.  Both are FREE.  Marian commented on this here last night.

I will look into your avatar problem and get back to you soon.  I need a bit longer to work on it.

Thanks for your patience and for taking the time to keep us apprised.

Claudia

Erica, I have only one

Erica,

I have only one thought for why the avatar might not be updating.  The site uses a cache on the server, which means that some content doesn't update immediately when you change it.  Could you try changing your weavatar and leaving the new image up for a day to see whether the new one shows up?

Of course, that assumes that you haven't already tried that....  If that doesn't work, then I'm stumped.
