Deb, Franco I am posting this here because I can not find the last posting on this subject.
When you go to "My Groups" on the botton of the posting is blue words that turn red when you move over them. The words are different with each posting: they are; Add New Comment, Comment, 5 New Comments, Subscribe to:This posting, Subscribe to: Posts of this type.
When you go to Forums & Groups listing you do not get the about. Depending on what wording you hit you will go to: the start of the posting, the last reply or the new reply.
I have my own problem, how do you start a new thread in a group?

Michael, go to your DIY group, however you get there, look in the left hand column, see the grey box that has your DIY title in or over it, see the "new group post" line, that is how you start a new group thread....I tested it in the dye group.....it works
