When I tried to follow the link in the new user's How To video for creating a new yarn listing, I got a YouTube error, "The URL contains a malformed video ID". Then when I tried to find a place in the Weavolutions website to report a bug, I found instructions to post it to the Help Forum, but that doesn't appear to exist. The Help page doesn't have anyplace to post anything, and this forum is the closest thingI could find. A thousand pardons if it is not the right place, but if that is the case, what is the right place to post a bug report?
Thank you for pointing out the errors you found in the Help section. We will definitely look into the missing video link. When we referred to the Help section we should have put a link for the Weavolution Help forum. Posting here is absolutely fine.

Thanks, Claudia!
The link worked for me (but perhaps it is already fixed). However: there are many help topics that (from what I can see) only exist in video form. Couldn't they also be added in text form? I'm thinking of all of us that may have difficulties in either hearing, or readily understanding spoken English, or having problems with bandwidth? There are still areas in Sweden, for example, where one can only get dial-up...
That's a good suggestion Kerstin. Thank you for the perspective of one of our international users. The Help area is currently under construction. In fact, one of our support members just added several Frequently Asked Questions and we are lookinkg at how to organize the Help topics better. Eventually, we will have both written and video help for each issue.

One other thing for KatP, if you are using IE as your browser, you will not have access to all the features available on Weavolution. It's a Drupal/IE thing, not just Weavo.
I was trying to view the video on my iPad, but since the other vids worked fine, and the link is apparently good (thanks for trying it, Kirsten), I can only guess that the yarn how to was encoded differently from the other how to vids, using an iOS-hostile codec. I am bandwidth constrained on my desktop computer, so try to watch MB-greedy content like videos on the iPad, where I have the legacy unlimited 3G data account. I tried it on the desktop and see if that's any better, since it's short, and confirm that it does work, just not on the iPad.
Thanks again for the quick response, Claudia, and the follow up.
Written help topics would be most appreciated for the US members that do not live near a major city or broadband. We bring data in via satallite and it is slow. Videos are painful to watch upon occasion. The sun spots and winds need to be aligned in order to get a good flow. My 3g iphone is much better than the computer now.
We are currently in the process of updating all the FAQs and Help topics. Our goal is to offer both written and video for most. Any assistance with this task is greatly appreciated. We have a Help document written by the Techno team that guides an assistant through the process.
Claudia
