It would be really helpful if whatever you were typing in the box would stay there when you hit the back and forward buttons. I accidentally hit the wrong back button at the end of typing in a long list of references and lost the whole blasted thing. Utter frustration.

It's so frustrating when you work hard and with the simple touch of a button it's all gone.
Not to put you off, I'll ask our dev team if this is a simple something or what. I don't know the ins and outs of how things are programmed or fixed.

I know that some of the websites I visit allow it and some do not. I suspect it takes storing the information temporarily as some sort of cookie (or cake, or pumpkin pie) until it is sent.

I must say, my personal preference is pumpkin pie but some would prefer cookies and we are off topic now. Tsk, tsk.
