When I asked this question, I got some advice that I thought would take care of my problems but none have worked yet. I'm going to move my question to this thread because I think more people will see it. So, here is my original question! I'm getting married in March of 2012. I was going to use the homemade tablecloths from my sister's wedding but I cannot remove the wax that must have spilled on a few of them. Does anyone have any advice on cleaning them without ruining them? If not, I'm going to either have to buy homemade ones, or make new ones. Yikes. If I end up having to buy new ones, has anyone bought the tablecloths
in bulk from buyshade? We will probably have about 100 guests, and I'm
guessing maybe 8-10 people per table. I would like a review before I
look into them further.Thanks!
So I am guessing you have tried ice and all the normal wax removal methoids. How about getting some lace and making table toppers and put them over the older cloths ? Weave or buy but it would look nice and be "yours"
