Happy Halloweave!
If you're not able to make todays final event of Halloweave, do not fear! We'll be recording the session and it will be available to you to listen to for 24 hours after it's posted! Detail links to follow the event!
Thanks everyone for participating, hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

Thanks so much for all the fun. Its was great to think a bit out side the box with my weaving. I can't wait to here who won.
I really regret not joining in on this. It looks like it was lots of fun and I did enjoy lurking around the edges. I hope this type of thing is tried again.
Anxiously waiting for the list to post so I may applaud in an appropriate fashion.
Have a good day!
I, too, enjoyed it very much. Halloweave was just the push I needed to start joining in on Weavolution. Thank you!
You will have to listen to the recorded finale at the link above to hear who the winners are.
Will a list be posted for people who are not able to listen to the recording during the 24 hour period its scheduled to be available or that otherwise cannot get video on their dialup service?
Have a good day!
It just sits there saying "buffering" but nothing ever comes up. Is there some reason you can't just post the results?
I really did enjoy participating in Halloweave. As my finale, I have posted the photos of my finished overshot patterned doubleweave runner.
Thank you Karren, for coming up with the idea, and to the other volunteers for making it happen. This was a very fun project, and I hope Weavolution does it again.
All my little guys, in the end, thought it was fun too. They did their share of whining about pins and not having a mouth to eat, and long car rides, but in the end, the Teddy bears' picnic made everything worth it!
Check out my blog ( http://jennybellairs.blogspot.com/)to see the photo story, and to see the final three bears as they are completed. I am sure that these little babies will be having more adventures before Christmas, so stay tuned.
Thanks again, Weavolution, and thanks for the shirt I won!

got the video to run. It was fun to see the winning projects and what great prizes. Thanks to the Halloweave volunteers, group leaders and participants for a great event.
And it got me thinking of doing things that I'd never considered before!
Great event!
I hope there is another one next year and that I will be around and not traveling so I can see it through to the end.
I still can't get the link to work -- probably my slow internet service. Any other way to see projects that won? Although I completed three dares, I was only in one Halloweave group, so I think I probably missed out on seeing all the projects.
Apparently it was a "PICNIC" -- Problem In Chair Not in Computer -- and I got the link to work. Very nice. Thank you to all who worked so hard to make this a fun learning experience and the sponsors who donated prizes. Congratulations to the four final prize winners: Finnweave Bag (gorgeous doubleweave); Shifu Scarf (with spun-paper yarn and beautiful leaves); the Octal Hope vest (beautiful); and the Sequin-filled double-woven pocket scarf -- so elegant. I'm off to check out their project pages and see what new ideas I can glean.
Halloweave was the perfect combination--lots of learning and lots of fun. The scope of the finished projects was amazing! We were all over the weaving map, and I've been busy reading about each project and making a wish list (a long one) of those I want to try. The best part of the event for me was having that wonderful feeling of being part of an active and inviting weaving community. I live on the far edge of nowhere, so that feeling of connection doesn't happen too often; when it does, it's something I cherish. Thanks to all--volunteers and fellow weavers--for helping me to stay connected.
