I am new to the Dayton, Ohio area and would like to find suppliers of yards etc for the loom.
Also interested in taking some weaving classes.

Yarn suppliers not yard :)
There is a shop in Tipp City (North of Dayton) that sells yarn and gives classes on weaving. It's called Tippecanoe Weaver & Fiber Too on Second St.
The Miami Valley Weaver's Guild meets in Yellow Springs 2nd Tue, eve from Sept-June. I sell yarns for weavers, have Leclerc looms, fibers for spinners. Barb Gallegar is in IN near Cinncy. The Wool Gathering, with lots of vendors, is Sept. 17, 18. I have been teaching a 4H begining class, last class is on Wed. I will PM you my telephone and email; I can put you in touch with the weaving world.
I found this place in the Knit & Spin mag. before leaving FL for vacation. We stopped in Dayton to visit our daughter and the next day found the shop not too far from where she lives.

Good Morning,
I am having problems!
I bought a used Cromaine Loom. (approx. 70-80 years young)
The back roller has a hand braking system that goes to the front of loom.
The braking system is a chain that wraps around the disc and hooks to the pedal and then to the top of the warp beam onto a hook.
All well and good. Warped the loom and then tried to advance the warp and in so doing the back brake releases, but the roller does not move.
Have I warped the roller wrong or what.
All new to this and basically have done the warping and threading all from Debbie chandlers book.
HELP HELP
p.s. not sure how to add a picture here so you can view situtation!?
