Could someone please tell me where to tie the threads on my warp on the board? Iam very new and want to weave.I have an old dorthey loom. I dont even know if all the parts are here! HELP! Thanks so much!
Do you have a warping board? I usually make my cross at the top of the board and begin winding from the bottom up.

You can also go to the Leclerc website and download the book by Robert Leclerc called Warp and Weave for free. It will show you how to dress the loom.

Your Dorothy loom is a LeClerc loom. Look at their website for photographs of looms (yours is a table loom) and for some free information. If you are a true beginner, it will save you a lot of time if you get a good book on beginning weaving and/or contact experienced weavers in your area or take a class. Dorothy looms have been popular for classes because they are basic and sturdy.
