Here is wishing everybody in and around Weavolution a Merry Christmas and thank you to all of you for many happy hours spent in your company.
Ellen
Happy holidays to you too Ellen!!
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and like Ellen I thank you all for many happy hours of you time. I also hope I was able to pass on a little wisdom to make your weaving go smoothly. The greatest Christmas gift I could get in my lifetime would be to see the the sheep laid down with the lion.
Peace and Love,

Happy Holidays and a safe joyous New Year to all from a snowy mountain top in Vermont, USA! Frank
Best wishes for the celebration of Yule, Saturnalia, Solstice, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza or whatever celebration you may choose to observe. We're careful here in Rhode Island where the Governor recently caused a ruckus by referring to igniting bulbs on a fir tree as the "holiday tree lighting ceremony" and enraged certain dogmatic constituents! I say, Merry Christmas to all! Dave
Happy Holidays to all of you! Wishing you a wonderful New Year!
I was wondering how this old thread got resurrected. I guess post #9 is spam. I don't want to click the links to find out.
ETA the spam post #9 has now been deleted. Well, at least we can thank the spammer for bringing this thread back to life.
Seasons Greetings.
Merry Christmas to all of you. Wishing you a very wonderful holiday and happy weaving in the New Year.
LES DESEO A CADA UNO DE USTEDES, QUE PASEN UNAS FELICES NAVIDADES, CON TODO CARIÑO, CRISTINA (ESPAÑA)
Merry Christmas and all the other holidays to everyone! Below is a bit of silliness I wrote for the Handweaving Today website carol challenge a bit ago:
Deck the looms with warps of linen, Fa la la la la, la la la la. Tis the season to be weavin’, Fa la la la la, la la la la. Weave we joyous, all together, Fa la la la la, la la la la. Heedless of the time and bother, Fa la la la la, la la la la. Send the shuttle blazing before us, Fa la la la la, la la la la. Grab the bar and beat it toward us. Fa la la la la, la la la la. Follow drafts in merry measure, Fa la la la la, la la la la. While we weave them ever fasture, Fa la la la la, la la la la. Blast away the old warp, lasses, Fa la la la la, la la la la. Hail the new, the fads, the classes, Fa la la la la, la la la la. Troll the ancient waulking carol, Fa la la, la la la, la la la. Don at last our gay apparel, Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Peace on earth, good will to all :-)

Now that's a carol! When will the Weavolution Chorus (backed by the Shuttles & Beaters Rhythum Section) release it? Happy, Happy Holidays from the Hills of Western Ma.
Love your carol :-)
That spammer activated my notofication function that hasn't worked for ages ( and still doesn'T), so I got 10 notifications for this thread!!!
Thanks for the Christmas carol. Now I'll have that song playing in my mind for the rest of the night. LOL

Merry Xmas to all handweavers around the world from stormy western Europe.
This picture, looking like a greetings card, has been taken yesterday morning after an "agitated" night in my beloved Brittany.

I noted on the thread "My Corner of the World" that Weavolution was nearing 7,000 users. Today I checked, and we are approaching 9,500!
With free access to the site, this is certainly a holiday gift we can all enjoy!
I want to thank the founders, the new owners, the donors, the advertisers, the volunteers, and the members who post for being so willing to share their time, talents, resources, and expertise. The site has certainly enriched my weaving life. Thank YOU.

Best Holiday Greetings to all - and in this dark time of year, we're celebrating the return of daylight by inaugurating our new solar panels. Even in Dec. they generate nearly half our power.

May your holidays be exactly what you want them to be, Weavolution!
Today is our Summer solstice in the southern part of Australia. The begining of the hot weather! Not the best time to be at the loom, not that is completely empty. I want to wish all members of weavolution all best wishes for your special holidays. Good Weaving! Norma
And here in Texas we are having our winter solstice! Happy holidays to all! Deb Mc
