<p>This draft function used to add an article "Out of Hand" that mentions the Marguerite Porter Davison collection which is housed at Winterthur, Wilmington, Delaware. &nbsp;This is a 114 piece collection which represents pieces from 1750-1850. </p><p><span style="line-height: 20px;">Ms. Davison collected these pieces primarily in the Oley and Landis Valley areas of Oley and Landis Valley areas of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in the 1940's and 1950's according to Linda Eaton and Emily Wilson's article attached to this draft. &nbsp;Sadly, the weavers' names have faded in history but their stunning textiles remain behind to remind us of their skill at the loom.
