Kitchen Placemats - Log Cabin Pattern

I doubled the thread on the weft for the Log Cabin cross piece in this pattern.  On my previous Grape Colors placemats the warp overwhelmed the weft and somewhat hid the weft pattern.  By making this adjustment it came out perfectly.  - Yes I know - I should have done a sample first.  But it didn't show up until I washed and dried it.  There is no teacher like experience!
