Sally, keep weaving, some projects can be fustrating, but your project looks great, great salvage and love the draft you have picked, would be interested to know what the draft is. Tencel makes a wonderful shinny scarve. Maybe your Mom's birthday is coming up and you can finish it by then. I think you will be pleased with you project once completed. It looks great so far.

I am a beginner, I mean very beginner. I thought I posted the draft. What are you asking me and I will try and tell you?  I am talking about when you said that you would be interesed to know what the draft is. Where do you live in TN? Sally

I would like to see the tie ups of the treadles and how you threaded the heddles. I live in Knoxville.

How do I show you that?  The tie ups and treadle are shown in the picture of the draft isn't it? I live in Johnson City.  Where do you by your yarns? Anywhere local? Sally

I found the draft at the top of your page. I have purchase yarn from Janes Fiber and Beads in Greeneville, TN. But I buy most of it from R&M in Georgetown, TN (just outside of Cleveland, TN). We have a second house in Bulls Gap, TN that we are restoring on weekends and hope to retire their and open it up as a B&B some time in the next 5 years.

Did you know that Jane's has closed out her fiber?  How far is Bulls Gap from Kingsport? Our weaving guild meets in Kingsport.  We also have an informal meeting in Kingsport on the 1st Sat. of the month. Right now we are having an Overshot Study Group then. We would love to have you join us. Every Aug. we have weaving lessons and there was a lady from Knoxville that came to them last year. Our Guild's meeting is in the third Wed. of the month. The web site is www.omwg.net go take a look at some of the things that we do. We have lot's of fun.  Keep in touch with me. Sally

Your scarf is absolutely gorgeous! I love the color and the pattern...and the twisted fringe looks wonderful. Very nice. I'll have to try weaving with tencel...I'm very new to weaving, but it looks like it would have a really nice drape to it.

Thank You. Yes, It does have a nice drape.
