Neki, this is lovely. Thanks for showing us!  How did you create the three darker words? This phrase is perfect for woven text because it has meaning in repetition. The dotted background is also perfect for the subject matter.

Years ago I wove images in summer and winter with a carefully painted weft yarn. Warp and tabby weft were off-white. Pattern yarn was also off-white except for black textile paint which allowed me to isolate single motifs while weaving repeats.

this was something my friend velma posted in her blog"flashing earthbound stars" when writing about the fireflies in her farm. how could i not weave those words?

the weaving of course went to her

i included some glow in the dark threads and paint too so she would get a surprise at night.
